While most complexes and hotels have pools to take a dip, nothing beats swimming and floating in a cool lake. Splish- Splash around in the brisk waters of a cool mountain lake or relax in the warm sand of a beach.

Top spots to rejuvenate with a dip are Diaz Lake, June Lake, Grant Lake, Horseshoe Lake, the Mammoth Lakes Community Whitmore Pool and the pool at Bishop City Park. Check out the maps section to find out exactly where they are located.

Whitmore Pool which is the closest public pool is on Benton Crossing road, near the Green Church off of Hwy. 395. The pool has different sessions for lap swimming, free play and lessons.
