GOLF at Mammoth Mountain

Mammoth's sky-high golf courses will entice seasoned and novice players alike. Come test the elevation on your game. Reservations and tee off times are recommended at all courses. Call ahead and tell them the Mammoth City Concierge sent you. Be sure to ask to play a few holes or a game with the club pro, if you are up for the challenge.

Sierra Star Golf Course
Sierra Star Golf Mammothis one of the most challenging alpine courses in the world. Designed by world-renowned golf course architect Cal Olsen, of Newport Beach. This 18-hole, Par-71 course has been designed to U.S.G.A. standards and is great for both pros and beginners. Tree-lined fairways, well-trapped greens, tranquil lakes and streams, and beautiful views punctuate the design. Nestled within a shelter of Jeffrey Pines and White Fir, each hole offers its own spectacular view. Tree-lined fairways, well-trapped greens, and numerous lakes and ponds make this course another challenging golf experience for the low handicap golfer, and also very enjoyable for the occasional recreational and beginner player. 760-934-4563

Sierra Star Golf Club will be open to the public with daily green fees of $115 per person for regular play and $95 for twilight play (after 2:00pm) Friday through Sunday. Monday through Thursday, greens fees are $95 per person and $75 for twilight play. All daily green fees include a cart. Pull carts are also available for those who would like to walk.

Snowcreek Golf Course
is a Par-35, 9-hole course for all abilities. Surrounded by Mammoth Meadows, this course has unobstructed views of Mammoth and the Sherwin Ridge. A driving range is available for those needing a little practice to perfect their game. Snowcreek was designed by one of America's foremost Golf Course Architects Ted Robinson of Laguna Niguel, California. Robinson has designed over 140 courses worldwide, and in the process has become well known as one of America's most imaginative and innovative golf course architects. Currently nine holes are completed with the length of the par 35 course at 3250 yards, a slope of 124, and a rating of 69.2. Junior Golf Leagues are set up throughout the season for school age boys and girls. Available for all level of players. Bishop Country Club
Take a swing on Bishop's picturesque 18-hole course. Bishop has an almost all year round very scenic course. They get started early in the season and stay open later as the weather is less severe. Rated by players as one of the finest and most beautiful 18-hole championship courses anywhere, Bishop Golf Course tests golfers of all levels with water on all but two holes. In Lone Pine, the
Mt. Whitney Golf Course
offers nine holes beneath the magnificent Mt. Whitney herself. This beautiful manicured course is set amid the gorgeous Alabama hills, with Mt Whitney towering in the backdrop. You will appreciate not only the magnificent scenery; but the challenging course as well. The Golf Course is located just across the road from the Alabama Hills Inn. Mt. In Death Valley, the 18-hole
Furnace Creek Golf Course
is the world's lowest golf course at 214 feet below sea level, yet is an oasis championship course. Originally opened in 1931, the course underwent a major renovation in 1997 by world-renowned golf course architect Perry Dye. Due to the elevation of the course, a slightly greater gravity and barometric pressure force are present.
