The crowds went wild! There was so much snow this past weekend, that almost every rock, tree tip and log were covered. Mammoth Mountain is reporting over 4 feet of snow from this latest storm. They have the most terrain open and the sun is now out. This shot is from the crowds storming the powder at "Cloud Nine Express" as it is one of the few chairs accessing totally ungroomed, fresh knee deep powder. It was truly a day for powder boards, snowboards and a tan.

Weather has turned warm and you now have days you need sunscreen especially if you're going to the top. Yes, it's open. Although breezy at the top, the sky is blue and the nights you can see every star. But Mammoth Mountain is not just about skiing and snowboarding, there are plenty of other activities to do.
