Mammoth Weather is The News - Snow!

7" of snow fell on Sunday morning and by the time Monday was over 3 feet of snow has fallen. This is the first of three storms that will blanket the Eastern Sierra. Temperatures are cold, right aroun 15 degrees and that means if snow falls a lot more will fall as the colder it is, the more snow you get out of the same amount of water. If you are coming to Mammoth, remember that you must have 4 wheel drive or chains for 2 wheel drive vehicles. If it snows, take public transportaiton as they know how to drive in these conditions and always allow plenty of room to stop. See you on the slopes.!
