Mammoth Elevation Gay Ski Week

Mammoth Elevation Gay Ski Week returns on, March 14-18 2012. This is a fun filled time of skiing, partying and well... more partying. It's the ten year anniversary event! The entire town of Mammoth Lakes goes wild and this weekend promises to be better than ever. Each year this event grows bigger in size, which means more fun, good laughs and developing friendships. City Concierge is the place to get gay friendly Mammoth Gay Ski Week Reservations. And... if you're a large group and looking to have your Mammoth rentals all together, we can help. We can also help you arrange your own apres ski parties, transportation if you would like to fly to Mammoth and personal services. You need to book your Mammoth reservations early so that we can get the rentals in Mammoth very close together if you're a group. We also have large luxury Mammoth vacation rental homes that hold up to 14 people. Very posh if you're doing your own entertaining. We can deliver to you your own private chef to come cook gourmet meals for you, and take care of all your guests. Now that sounds like even more fun.

Welcome to Mammoth! We've added another event to the beginning of the week because the boys keep arriving earlier! (And because this is our 10th anniversary!) This is our kick-off event to Elevation 2012, so drive into town and get your ass over here. Or for some of the hard-core skiers and boarders in the group, unwind after your first day on the hill. Each year the number of people who arrive for the Welcome Event grows. Last year was our biggest Welcome Event yet, with over 300 guys in attendance.

THURSDAY, MARCH 15th
"WARM-UP" APRES-SKI

Last year the Thursday Apres-Ski had over 600 guys in attendance. This year we expect even more...and we're just getting warmed up! Dibs on the cute guy in the Burton pants. Or out of the Burton pants.

"SANCTUARY NORTH"

The well known Sanctuary Thursday night at the Abbey in Los Angeles goes North to SBE's sister property, Hyde Lounge. This will be our first really big event, with the boys and girls getting together for cocktails, music and carousing. Everyone is in town by now, so the party has really begun. One of our Sanctuary residents DJ Drew G spins (shirtless, I'm sure.)

Skiers, Studs, One Night Stands & Ski Bunnies. Apres-ski events are the snowboarder equivalent of a very HAPPY HOUR. For many boarders (and wank-plankers), this is their favorite part of a gay ski week. It's a traditional apres-ski (which just means "after you get off your board" in some foreign language) with a bit more alcohol, much better music, and way hotter guys.

"THE PARTY @ 10,000 FEET"
with DJ JOSH PEACE 9:00pm to 2:00am @ McCoy Station - CATCH THE GONDOLA AT MAIN LODGE
Take a night-time ride in the gondola up the dark mountainside to our annual mountain-top tea dance. Last year, we had to move the party due to weather conditions, but we are looking forward to bringing it back to McCoy this year. The entire mountain belongs to us. Yes, there is only the light of the moon for about eight minutes while going up the mountain, so if you're afraid of the dark... bring someone to cuddle with. (Cause I'm not going to provide him for you, no matter how many times you ask. I'm not the Millionaire Matchmaker.)

SATURDAY, MARCH 17th
SKI & RIDE HOOK-UP
9:30am @ Canyon Lodge
Let us be your mountain guides! Meet up with the guys from Elevation and SAGA Gay Ski & Snowboard Club for a morning of skiing/boarding. Intermediate and Advanced skill levels, no charge. Look for our signs at Canyon Lodge.
"ST PATRICK'S DAY BEACH PARTY" APRES-SKI
with DJ DREW G 4pm to 7pm @ Smokeyard
Boys, Boarders & A Beach Party. Kahlua is bringing you special cocktails for one of our most popular events, and we're turning a ski week apres-ski into a St Patty's Day Beach Party. Makes sense to us! Wear some green! The Saturday après-ski is one of our biggest events, and a signature event during a ski weekend. Straight (or not) off the mountain, and into the bar. No changing, no showering. (Bossy, aren't we?) This is one of our biggest events, so the place will be packed, and we will hit capacity, so make sure that you buy your tickets ahead of time. If you were there last year, you know the meaning of "at capacity."

"DEFROST" APRES-SKI
with DJ JOSH PEACE 6pm to 8pm @ Lakanuki
We've gotten too big for our britches! When Smokeyard fills up (and we know it will!) head on over to Lakanuki for our other, later apres-ski. Make sure you don't stay and party too long...Snowfall and Avalanche start at 9pm.

"MOSTLY BROADWAY"
with Broadway's David Burnham 7:30pm to 9:00pm @ Location TBD
Broadway's award-winning singer and actor, David Burnham, has starred in such shows at the mega-hit "WICKED," "THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA," and "JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT." In "Mostly Broadway" he delights the audience with songs and tales of the Great White Way and beyond!

"SNOWFALL"
with DJ PORNSTAR 7pm to 2am @ Gomez's
7pm to 8:30pm: Dinner Seating
9pm to 2am: Cocktails & Dancing with DJ Pornstar! Appetizer menu available late night.

"AVALANCHE"
with DJ ROLAND BELMARES 9pm to 2am @ Hyde
This is our Saturday night main event with DJ Roland Belmares. Roland has spun at some of the biggest parties in the world. We are thrilled to have him return for ELEVATION X.

SUNDAY, MARCH 18th
"LAST RUN" APRES-SKI 3pm to 7pm @ Gomez's
The Sunday après-ski will be our final event, and after tears and many margaritas, Elevation 2012 will be memories and a suntan, except for the last day of skiing on Monday. Mammoth midweek skiing is legendary - no lift lines and the whole mountain to explore.

For many of the event there will be 2 venues operating. You're admission ticket buys you entrance to both. We encourage you to get your tickets early so you won't be disappointed. Have fun. Please don't drink and drive. Take the town's free shuttles and leave your car behind.
