Fishing In Mammoth

Why is everyone so anxious to get some trout? because they are fun to catch, cook and eat! Mammoth has lakes and streams that are filled with rainbow and brown trout which are considered the native varieties. The town of Mammoth Lakes also stocks the Lakes Basin with our own home grown Alpers Trout from the Alpers Fish Hatchery and they are super sized! Convict Lake is also a great place to go and put your pole in. Here are some great fishing holes and remember season is open with derbies and contests till November 14.
