Fireworks, Parade and a Big Bang

Mammoth Fireworks 4th of July in Mammoth is a big deal. It is one of the most celebrated times as the weather is perfect and the whole town goes all out. From the parade where you can get doused with water from the Fire Department or throw a water balloon at the mayor, to the pancake breakfast, music at all the hot spot venues to culminating with two dazzling fireworks shows... the first in the Village. And then bombs bursting in the air over Crowley Lake... and except for parking, there is no cost.

Yes, the ski area still has snow so you can ski until July 4, and you will want to get the T Shirt that says you did. So you can still ski on the 4th of July along with fish, play golf, hike, mountain bike, cycle... and just hang out... Can you do that at home?
