Bluesapalooza

It is the most popular music event of the summer. The 17th annual Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza. Like every year, Mammoth brings together an amazing line up of well renown pro talent and the widest assortment of micro brews from around the country. For the regulars who come every year, you know it is a sell out every year, with a scrambling for last minute tickets. There were 70 micro brews represented last year and so far 11 bands have been signed for this event which features blues, bluegrass, soulful, easy listening and smooth jazz.

The line up this year features on Friday night, The Johnny Winter Band, Edgar Winter Group, Rick Derringer, Mountain's Leslie West, Trampled Under Foot, and Harper and Midwest Kind. Saurday we will raise the roof with Betty LaVette, Charlie Musselwhite, Robben Ford & The Ford Blues Band, Honey Island Swamp Band and Albert Cummings, and Sunday's Hangover Party the bands are... well coming soon.

The tickets for Bluesapalooza are already on sale, so you want to get them while you can, especially the single day tickets. As the town is packed for this event, we also strongly suggest you make your Bluesapalooza reservations early so you can walk to the event, as that lodging sells out first. It all takes place Friday, August 3 - Sunday, August 5th 2012 outdoors among the stars at the Mammoth event site, on Minaret Road between Main Street and Meridian Boulevard.
