Big Events at Mammoth In February

February is big event month at Mammoth. Starting with the Unbound Freestyle Series - Giant Slalom x2 on January 30, 2011 up at Main Lodge Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. This USASA sanctioned Slalom event is open to everyone. Registration is from 9-10am in Roma's Room, third floor of Main Lodge. Competition starts around 11am. Entry fee and Lift Ticket/Pass required; USASA membership required (memberships can be purchased at registration)

Mammoth Winterfest February 4, 2011 - February 6, 2011
Join us for a fun filled Winterfest weekend, sponsored by the Mammoth Lakes Rotary Club. Your $100 registration includes:,
Friday night reception at the Bistro at the Snowcreek Athletic Club.
Saturday: Ski poker rally on Mammoth Mountain, Scavenger hunt in Mammoth Lakes, Costume Contest at noon in front of Mill Café, Saturday night awards dinner and auction at Talons at Little Eagle, featuring fantastic vacation packages ($50 additional)
Sunday: Snowshoeing at Shady Rest Park, Super Bowl gathering with local Rotarians at the Bistro at Snowcreek Athletic Club. Unbound Freestyle Series - Boardercross
February 12, 2011 Times: 9:00 am. Mammoth Mountain hosts this annual series. Registration is located in Roma's Room (3rd floor, Main Lodge) from 9am-10am. This USASA sanctioned Boardercross event is open to snowboarders and skiers of all ages. Competition starts around 11am. There is an Entry fee. (Lift ticket/season pass required; USASA membership required - membership can be purchased at registration.)
