8 Feet of New Snow in Mammoth, Top Open

The Mammoth Lakes Snow Report is 127" so far. Snow is good at Mammoth resort. Over 10 feet of snow has fallen and more is expected making this a fantastic season. The Mammoth weather is all the news. Temperatures are mid 20's when the wind is calm and the snow is light and fluffy. and after a bit of struggle, the top opened. he groomers had quite a large load on their hands to get the avalanche control safe. Chair 23 was awesome, this writer skied Scotties which was light and fluffy. The winds to peak up at the top making it a bit of a shiver. The best snow was found in between the trees where fresh rides could be had. More snow is expected throughout the week. Hello to the guys I met who blasted up from Los Angeles for the day.
