Smokey Bear Flats Trails

Just outside of the Town of Mammoth Lakes is a large flat open space known affectionately as Smokey Bear Flats. This area is a haven for snowmobile riders, dog sled mushers, and kids on sled. The trails seen here are for the snowmobiles and mushers but are open to the public. Smokey Bear Flats is half way betwen Mammoth and June Lake. This is a "bring your own" play area.
