Mammoth Yosemite Airport

Located just outside of the town limits, the Mammoth Yosemite Airport is a fully functional airport with hangers, tower and a great place to bring in your private plane. The airport is about 35 minutes from the gates of Yosemite National Park. The airport is scheduled for commercial service winter 2007-2008 and at last we heard, Horizon Air was the carrier. Flights via Horizon Air will be from Los Angeles LAX and will be posted here once the schedules are confirmed. Mammoth Airport has been in existence with commercial flights since 1972 and over the last few years has had a make over allowing more private and non-commercial planes to land. In the meantime, the shoretst distance is to fly to Reno, NV and we can arrange transportation for you from there.
