Ansel Adams Wilderness - Map

The Ansel Adams Wilderness was established in 1985. It recreation area covers 228,500 acres in the Inyo and Sierra national forests. It covers the area just south Lee Vining and June Lake and north of Mammoth Lakes. It borders Yosemite National Park on the West and goes across Highway 395 to the White Mountains.
